Karishma Tanna is a well-known film and TV actress, born on 21st December 1983, hailing from India. She belongs to a Gujarati family and lives with her mother with whom she is so attached. While her father died in the month of October in 2012. After completing her education, she established her career in the field of modeling and acting and since then, she came to the spotlight. She is recognized for playing supporting roles in various Indian serials and movies. Karishma Tanna took the start of her professional career with a debut serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” which was aired on Star Plus in 2001. It was the most-watched serial and gained millions of views across the world. Later, she appeared in the serial named “Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha and Qayamat Ki Raat”. Meanwhile, she did some modeling assignments and became popular for her ravishing beauty. In 2014, she became a first runner-up in the Reality TV Show named “Bigg Boss”. Likewise, she also took part in various TV shows including “Zara Nach Ke Dikha” which was aired in the year 2008. Later in 2015, she appeared in other Indian TV reality shows including “Nach Baliye” and “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” which was aired in 2016. In 202, she took part in the show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ka Khiladi” in which she became the winner of the show. Apart from the small screen, Karishma Tanna also marked her identity on the big screen and appeared in many movies. In 2006, she made a debut movie “Dosti: Friends Forever” which was directed by Suneel Darshan. In the movie, she appeared as Nandini Thapar. In 2013, she made an appearance in the movie “Masti” which was a comedy movie by Indra Kumar. In 2018, she also worked in the most successful biopic movie “Sanju” which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. However, she has acted in a variety of movies and mostly she plays supporting roles for which she became the most-favorite actress of many of her fans.
