Achala Sachdev married to Clifford Douglas Peters and lived in Pune. Her husband had a factory in Pune’s Bhosari Industrial Estate, named ‘Morris Electronics. he produced small electronic parts, and later, he sold his company to the Piramal Group.

Here you will be amazed to know that Achala Sachdev was a second wife of Peters as his first wife died. While before getting married to Peters, Sachdev herself was a divorce. It means it was her second marriage too.

8- Lived Alone after his Husband’s death

Peters was a Mechanical Engineer by profession and after his death, Achala Sachdev lived alone in a bungalow. Before five years of her death, she then gave away her bungalow to the Jansera Foundation (a charitable organization).
